Delaware internet gambling earnings reach a new high
Delaware’s controlled internet gambling market produced $313,648 (£247,112/€278,007) in income in May, the highest monthly sum so far this year, in spite of a small decrease in player spending online.
As per data released by the Delaware Lottery, the May figure indicates a substantial increase from April’s $263,183, which was the lowest monthly figure so far in 2019.
Gamblers wagered $11.7 million online in May, the lowest monthly amount since February’s $9 million, down from $11.9 million in May, while player winnings also dropped to $11.4 million last month.
