Galaxy Gaming Announces Departure of Bill Zender from Board of Directors

Longtime board member Bill Zender will be stepping down from his role at Galaxy Gaming, effective July 1st. Having joined the board in 2015, Zender’s exit will conclude his tenure and leave the board with four members.

The company will commence the search for Zender’s replacement immediately. In the meantime, the board’s duties will be managed by Mark Lipparelli, Bryan W. Waters, Cheryl Kander, and Michael Gavin Isaacs.

Galaxy Gaming has engaged an executive search firm to assist in identifying Zender’s successor. The company aims to find a candidate with comparable expertise, particularly in the field of casino table games.

Upon selection, the new board member will be formally appointed at the 2024 Galaxy Gaming shareholder meeting, fulfilling the remainder of Zender’s term.

Mark Lipparelli, Chairman of Galaxy Gaming, acknowledged Zender’s contributions, remarking, “Bill Zender is an icon in the casino table game sector. His perspectives over the past seven years have been indispensable.”

William has been a true advantage to our team for quite some time, playing a key role in our current success. His talent for identifying emerging prospects has been invaluable, and we deeply appreciate his contributions. We extend our best wishes for his future endeavors.”
